I was looking at the guidelines for a minor in technical writing, and most of the classes I have to take for the minor, I have already taken and will have to take for my major anyway. I would only have to take 3 additional classes to get the minor. However, I’m just not sure if it’s a good minor to choose.

i have experience of more than 1 yr in technical writing field with lot of exposure in different aspects of documentation domains. I am seeking a job abroad (UK/US/Canada) while currently I am working in Pakistan.

Which foreign language is most useful to know in the technical writing/editing industry? Spanish or French?

For example, would a person who majored in a liberal arts subject that was very writing intensive still be able to become a technical writer if they didnt actually have any technical training?
