Exposition and Persuasion OR Technical Writing. Which one?

I currently have a B.S. in Radiologic Technology, I am interested in a career in Technical Writing, but pretty much need to do it on line. Any reccomendations??

What’s a good book for the technical side to writing screenplays?
I want to read a book that isn’t the typical “Syd Field” character development, plot, three acts, obvious BS that is basically common sense recycled for someone who is already pursuing film. I want a book that addresses the technical writing of screenplays, like writing montages, phone conversations, cross-cutting scenes, action or dance sequences, etc.

Technical tips and advice for writing?
I would like some technical advice and tips for writing fanstatic narrative, specially sci-fi… I would appreciate it if you gave your own tips, or posted advice by recognized authors, schools, or whatever you find to be relevant.Edit:
I do write a bit, I have done a few chronics, essays and short stories, but I’m shooting for something more, and want good advice.
