Hi friends,
I enjoy writing in my spare time, and have plenty of articles to go around, but I don’t know where to start.
I have been freelance writing and working odd jobs for most of my life, I am now 29 and am just finishing my degree in PR. It seems like everyone starting in the PR field is YOUNG. Do I stand a chance of getting hired at my age, without experience outside of my internships?

Ok, I’ve been reading up on lots of advice and such about how to decide upon careers. One common theme is to get a job in what your passion is. Couldn’t this be a bad idea? Say someone loves writing creatively, and then gets a job writing…like, a freelance writing job, or an editor or works in copy-writing, whatever, couldn’t this backfire and drain them of all their creative energy and they won’t want to write their own stuff anymore? What are your thoughts on this?
What was the first writing job you had and how did you go about getting that job? I want to start, but I have nothing published as of yet, and I have no idea in which direction I should be heading first. I really would like to write novels, but I have to pay the bills and have no delusions of writing a bestseller which brings in millions. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
How easy would it be to find a freelance writing job?
Been looking for freelance, work at home, writing jobs .
What are some jobs available for a creative writing major, marketing minor? Please include obvious choices such as author, freelance writer, and editor, and other not-so-obvious alternatives. Where can I start in order to work my way up? Thanks for your answers
