What you will need to do is optimize for both keywords as Google and all engines treat a search query string as different results.
So- you can start doing some article writing by making your anchor text for your links back to your website with those two keywords.
Here is a good article on Long-Tail: http://palatnikfactor.com/2008/10/02/the-long-tail-is-your-best-bet-for-1st-position/
Here is the problem most make all of the time!
Instead of putting as many keywords per page as you can, make a page for every keyword! Write good content for your readers.
Bigger is better. Write about the difference of a big face watch and a iced out watch if any.
You can’t trick google, and all of these crazy techniques will leave you wondering which is really working.
P.S. Anchor text went out a long time ago.
For SEO, you usually want to target the long tail because:
1) It is less competitive than “the head”.
2) It usually converts better than the head.
The downside is that the longtail does not get as much traffic.
Here are two good articles on SEO and keywords:

make a page for both keywords.. and optimize each based on the keyword u want to target… u will get the dezired results.
