I bought this book for a Creative Writing class and we haven’t even used it yet. The exercises look interesting, so I will probably hold on to it for inspiration even after the semester is over.

The book, itself, is well-written. It is a very good tool for a budding creative writer to refer to, when needed. I do not, however, think it is worth the +/- $60 price tag it carries. I’d pay $25 tops for this book and wouldn’t have gotten it if it wasn’t required for a class.
